About me…

I’m Jay, the eye behind Jyby Photography. My work lives in the spaces between movement and stillness where a fleeting glance, a quiet shadow, or the chaos of a street corner becomes something timeless. Street photography is where my heart beats fastest, but I’m drawn to all forms of image-making that reveal truth and beauty in unexpected ways.

Through my lens, I chase authenticity not perfection. Whether it’s a candid moment on the street, a portrait that reflects someone’s spirit, or a scene that hums with atmosphere, I aim to preserve the raw, unpolished poetry of life as it unfolds.

Jyby Photography is built on inclusivity, openness, and connection. I am proud to create a space where every identity is celebrated, where LGBT+ voices are embraced, and where individuality is not only seen but honored.

For me, photography is not just about taking pictures. It’s about listening, noticing, and translating the world into fragments of light and memory and stories that might otherwise slip away.
